I draw on my technology mindset, HR expertise and passion for spreadsheets to help organizations continuously grow and improve. Finding effective, affordable HR solutions that deliver maximum ROI is my top priority. 

 I spent the first 14 years of my career in high tech, starting in software verification roles, and then working as a technical support manager for two separate teams. In 2009, I transitioned to the Human Resources field to focus on HR systems, data analysis, and project management. I also write articles about HR and ERP technology for TechTarget. I earned both my PMP designation from PMI and my CCP designation from WorldatWork in 2009 (both are no longer active).

On HR systems projects, I bridge HR and IT by translating technical aspects into plain English, allowing organizations to make strategic and informed decisions. 

I also work extensively in Microsoft Excel, helping companies of all sizes setup spreadsheets, write formulas, analyze data, and develop charts and graphs.

 I work with clients on projects of all sizes, either directly with an organization or in some cases as a liaison between an organization and a vendor’s HRIS implementation consultant. Small projects might include developing advanced Excel templates with functions/macros. Mid-size implementation projects include requirements gathering, evaluation, data conversion, testing, implementation, training, change management, post go-live support and more. 

 I’m a values-driven individual that is passionate about the work I do. I also make time to enjoy life. My wife and I both like to travel, give back and pay it forward to a number of causes, and spend time with our kids, family and friends. I’m an avid motorcyclist and dog lover.
